In recognition of National Stop the Bleed Month this May, RegenMed Solutions is launching a limited-time initiative to provide free “Stop the Bleed” training sessions to organizations throughout the New Jersey region. The program places special emphasis on underserved and high-risk communities, offering vital emergency skills to those who need them most. Observed every May, National Stop the Bleed Month raises awareness about one of the leading causes of preventable death: severe bleeding. The campaign encourages individuals—regardless of experience—to learn simple, effective methods for controlling life-threatening bleeding through direct pressure, wound-packing, and tourniquet use. In many trauma cases, such as accidents, violence, or natural disasters, victims can lose their lives in under five minutes without immediate intervention.
At RegenMed Solutions, the mission is grounded in emergency preparedness and humanitarian service. Lifesaving skills should be accessible to everyone—not just those in privileged or well-funded communities. This initiative is about bridging that gap and empowering all individuals to respond effectively in a crisis. These free, hands-on classes are available to schools, community groups, faith-based organizations, and nonprofits—especially those serving underserved or high-risk areas. Training includes:
• How to recognize life-threatening bleeding
• Techniques for applying pressure and packing wounds
• Proper tourniquet application
• Practical scenarios to build decision-making and confidence
RegenMed Solutions will prioritize scheduling based on community need, reach, and the potential number of individuals trained. Due to limited availability, organizations are encouraged to apply early. Eligible Organizations Include:
• Community and youth centers
• Public schools and after-school programs
• Churches, mosques, and other faith-based groups
• Grassroots and neighborhood-based nonprofits
• Local businesses and civic groups seeking preparedness training
